Quick Ravioli Bake – UHC TV
I have a great question, which I get a lot. What can I do, when I get home, and I don’t have a lot of time, and I don’t want to use a recipe. I have a terrific answer for that.
It’s a ravioli bake that turns out kind of like lasagna. And I give this recipe to friends, and they go crazy for it. It’s so easy it uses three ingredients.
So, start with a pan and I use one like this, but you can use any size you want. What you’re going to need is a jar of pasta sauce – and you can use any kind you like, a bag of frozen ravioli – and those come in cheese, and sausage, and vegetable, anything you like, go ahead and grab it.
And then you need some shredded cheese. Again, any kind you like. Something like mozzarella would be popular, so if you have that, that’s great. If you have a little Parmesan, that’s terrific, too.
So, this is how it goes.
1) You pour your pasta sauce in the bottom of the pan, maybe a half-inch of it.
2) Then, in a single layer, you put your ravioli down. And remember, you are not cooking this ahead of time. You’re pulling it right out of the bag, frozen, and layering it.
3) Now sprinkle it with cheese.
4) Then repeat. So, sauce on top of that, another layer of ravioli, and another layer of cheese.
5) Put some foil over the top of this, and pop it into the oven at about 350°. It’s going to take maybe 40-45 minutes to cook.
6) At the end of it, pull the foil off, let it brown for another 10 or 15 minutes until it’s piping hot all the way through
7) Pull it out of the oven, and you’ve got dinner.
Put a salad together, and done.

All you need is bottled pasta sauce, some frozen ravioli and a bit of cheese and bingo -- a home-cooked meal.
